The Eastern Shore Art Center 39th Annual OUTDOOR ART SHOW takes place Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20,2011,
10 am to 5 pm daily.

The OUTDOOR ART SHOW is located on the grounds of the Eastern Shore Art Center and the surrounding downtown area of Fairhope, Alabama. It is within walking distance to Mobile Bay and many specialty shops and restaurants. This is a cultural and social highlight for the Gulf Coast that attracts more than 250,000 visitors.

The art show has included prestigious international and regional fine artists for the past 39 years. This year, the Eastern Shore Art Center will accept an exclusive selection of renowned artists and cutting-edge newcomers to attract the most respected art dealers, collectors, interior designers and art enthusiasts.

CALL FOR ARTISTS - HERE TO ETERNITY EXHIBIT

Fishing off the pier, picnics along the shore, watching a brilliant sunset, crabbing/shrimping with your children, the first swim of the season, seeing dolphins jump through the water, plus witnessing hundreds of other creatures and plantlife...these all reflect our waterfront lifestyle.
But the current oil crisis may threaten all the pleasures we may have taken for granted.

Pick-up your sketchpad, paint and camera and capture your memories of life along our precious, fragile coast.

ESAC is having a one-month, open exhibit of all media, “Here To Eternity”, opening during
September 3rd ArtWalk. We encourage all our member artists to particpate in opening our eyes and appreciate the wonders in our own backyard.

Artwork limited to 60 pieces (2 per artist), wired, framed or gallery-wrapped. Maximum size
40 x 28” (any direction) including frame. Check-in August 27th, 9 to 2 pm.
Take down September 28th, 9 to 2 pm.

JUMPIN' JUBILEE

COPA is hosting a public art project in Fairhope, Alabama concentrating on flounder, shrimp and crab, all of which are creatures found in Mobile Bay's mysterious jubilees. Once these creatures have been on display throughout Fairhope, an auction will be held on October 1, 2011. Named, Jumpin’ Jubliee, sponsorships are now available.
